Our brand new Shark Tank Mural was completed at the end of the school year.

Miss Foglia’s 6th grade, spring semester students had the opportunity to work on the mural. One of the walls is 25' by 6' tall and the other two are 12'x 6'.

“Amazingly, the mural was completed in one week thanks to the generous donations of paint from parents and staff members. The kids did 95% of the work and the other 5% consisted of prepping the area and designing the actual mural. The children projected, traced and cut stencils based on my drawings and then taped them to wall and traced them again. Next, any child that had free time after an assignment was completed could have fun painting in the shapes. They decided on the colors of the fish and hand painted the entire coral landscape. Finally, I put some finishing touches on the sharks to make them come to life. I plan on getting some NEW metal tables for the enclosure, and any bit of publicity might get us the attention we need to accomplish that. (A nice retractable awning would be great as well, but first I want the tables!)” Miss Foglia
