Shirts/Tops/Blouses

Must have a collar
- Must
have sleeves
- Must
be kept buttoned (from the 3rd button down) so as not to be
revealing.
- Low
cut or revealing, sheer or see-through fabrics are not allowed.
- Can
not be longer than the length of skirts, skorts, or shorts being worn.
- Must
be at least 3inches below the top (waist) of the pant.
- There
should never be bare skin (front or back) exposed when sitting or
standing.
- When
layering, the collared shirt must be on top
- A
collared shirt MUST be worn under a blazer, sweatshirt or jacket
T-shirts
- May
be worn on designated days ONLY
- Must
have a basic round neck or v-neck style. No scoop neck or
deep-V.
- Should
fall at least 3 inches below the waist of the pant/short/skirt/skort.
- Low-cut
or revealing, sheer or see-through types are not permitted.
Skirts and Skorts must be no shorter than 2
inches above the top of the knee.
Shorts must be no shorter than 4 inches above the top of the
knee.
Pants/Jeans/Slacks
- Must
be worn to the top of the hipbone or higher. Look for a pant with a zipper length of
4 inches at the minimum. This will
help you purchase the appropriate “rise” (Height of waist from crotch) of
the pant/jean.
- Zipper
must not be shorter than four (4) inches.
- Boys’
pants must be secured and belted at the hip.
- Must
not be baggy and/or oversized pants.
- The
hem of the pant must not drag on the ground.
NO SWEATPANTS, WARM-UP SUITS OR BASKETBALL-TYPE SHORTS for
regular school wear are permitted.
School Sponsored organizations and sports team members may wear team
warm-ups on game/competition days.
Shoes
- SHOES
should have closed toes and backs for safety reasons.
- Sandals
may be worn, but they are required to have a back/ankle strap.
- “Slippers”
or flat soled shoes (slides, Chinese style) are not to be worn to
school.
Other
·
BACKPACKS,
DRAWSTRING BAGS, AND OTHER BAGS, INCLUDING TOTES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON CAMPUS. Purses must be no larger than 10” x 10”.
- Clothing
with inappropriate/offensive language, message(s) or picture(s) is never
permitted on campus.
- Clothing
or accessories with studs, ornaments, chains or other objects which can do
damage to person or property is not permitted.
- Exposed
body piercing is not allowed (including nose piercing).
- Unusual/unnatural
hair colors (green, blue, pink, etc.) are not permitted.
- Undergarments
should never be exposed.
- Sunglasses
and head gear including caps, hats, bandanas, sweatbands, etc. are not to
be worn. Any clothing with holes or
slits is not permitted.
The administration of the school shall have the authority to
judge whether or not the appearance of any student is in violation of the dress
policy or is disruptive to the educational function or school setting.
